How to get to your Personal Information

  • If you have questions about your personal information such as past paychecks, W2s and other tax forms, lost wages, etc. email dasHR@deltapeo.com. This email will go to the whole office at Delta Administrative Services.

Resources for Navigating Unemployment

  • The Louisiana Workforce Commission has resources for people who are navigating unemployment here.

  • You can file directly for unemployment benefits in Louisiana here.

  • You still have to pay income taxes on unemployment benefits. The IRS recommends that you fill out a W4 form and withhold some of your unemployment benefits so that you are not surprised by a big tax bill at the end of the year.

  • For the most reliable, up-to-date information about COVID-19 follow the CDC’s updates.

  • For up-to-date information about the status of COVID-19 in our community, follow the Louisiana Department of Health’s updates.

  • To find a facility in New Orleans that provides tests for the coronavirus, use this guide from the Louisiana Department of Health. (Hint, New Orleans is in Region One).

Health Insurance Resources

  • COBRA

    If you enrolled in QED’s health benefits, you are eligible to continue with your same coverage under (COBRA). The Department of Labor explains how COBRA works here. Also, Delta Administrative Services has put together this document to help QED employees navigating COBRA.

  • Health Insurance Marketplace 

    You may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period which would allow you to enroll in a new health insurance plan in the Health Insurance Marketplace. HealthCare.Gov offers resources for navigating the Marketplace.

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

    If you have insurance through QED, you have Blue Cross Blue Shield. Their website has information about their response to the pandemic along with good resources for their clients.

  • Greater New Orleans Inc runs WorkNola, a platform to connect job seekers and actively hiring local employers.

Status of the Hospitality Industry

  • The Louisiana Restaurant Association provides great resources to the people in our industry. QED has a great relationship with the LRA, and we remain in constant communication to advocate for our people and get advice as our company navigates our temporary closures and partial re-openings.

Wellness and Mental Health Resources

  • The CDC offers advice and resources about managing stress and anxiety during the coronavirus crisis. Researchers have found that fear and anxiety about a disease can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions in adults and children and that learning to cope will make you and your loved ones stronger.

  • The Rootd App is a wonderful tool for facing an ongoing panic attack and a great resource for learning more about anxiety. 

  • Headspace is a popular app that provides guided meditations.

  • The Insight Timer App is the #1 App for sleep, anxiety and stress.

  • Yale offers an online course called The Science of Well Being on Coursera. Both the free version and the paid version are awesome classes.

Free Physical Fitness Resources

  • Nike Training Club has on-demand class-style workouts, programs, and expert tips on nutrition, sleep, and more.

  • MakeYourBodyWork.com provides an exhausting number of ways to workout from home - everything from quick core workouts to month-long daily yoga challenges. 

  • FitOn App lets you build fitness plans and attend virtual workout classes.

Academic Personal Development Resources

  • Free Code Camp has put together a list of 450 online classes from Ivy League schools that you can take right now for free.

  • Coursera has a big selection of free University-sponsored online classes.

  • Class Central also has a big selection of free University-sponsored online classes. 

  • The National Emergency Library has over 1.4 million books online for free.

  • Mint offers advice and templates to help you budget your money.

  • Quicken provides this tool that lets you visualize your spending habits.

  • Business Insider put together this list of money saving tips in 2015 that has stood the test of time.
